What is the Local Advisory Council?
The Local Advisory Council represents the voices, needs, and expectations of Synergy North customers. As the electricity industry continues to evolve, the LAC provides valuable insight that helps inform planning, decision-making, and service improvements.
Council members contribute feedback and recommendations on topics such as:
- Customer needs and expectations
- Community priorities
- Capital project planning and organization
- Community outage prioritization
- Emerging issues affecting local electricity service
Goals of the Local Advisory Council
The LAC works to:
- Bring forward the customer perspective and provide feedback on system planning, strategies, and policies
- Consider and provide advice on matters referred by Synergy North's senior management
- Support continuous improvement by identifying opportunities to enhance customer service and community engagement
The Local Advisory Council helps ensure community voices are heard and considered in decisions that impact the future of electricity service across the region.
